Branding design, e-commerce web design, and sugary-sweet photography, all to help sell the best doughnuts in Glasgow with Doh. We worked with Doh to create a rainbow-centric, handmade-feel, signwriter-led identity in their branding. We also collaborated on signage and packaging design for their amazing fresh doughnut and coffee spot that’s taken King Street by storm since their launch.
As usual, our branding design efforts were the cornerstone of the entire aesthetic approach in our project with Doh. A custom Shopify website development project followed, where we had plenty of space to use the suite of sugary colours and playful icons and doughnut illustrations that we’d created for use throughout the branding. Then, designing signage to be displayed in Glasgow (our hometown!) is always a thrill, so assisting with their shop frontage was a delight!

Branding Design and E-Commerce Web Design for Glasgow’s Doh
The visual identity for Doh was always going to incorporate the colourful, playful approach of the products. A lot of our early research was into signwriter-style aesthetic, as well as diners and other Americana. The fun part was integrating that inspiration back into a Glasgow-based business with progressive values like Doh; as is often the case, graphic design and branding design starts to take on a life of its own when you’re combining multiple areas of influence.
Then, because we got to create all of the other collateral to go with the business - from the e-commerce pre-orders website design to the signage for the front of the shop - we were able to develop and expand the range of icons in the brand in accordance with what the business needed, down to adding a cute hand-drawn frog for some t-shirt designs and future swag.
